The month the books came home. Here is what changed in Gracely, and why it helps your church.
Highlights
Accounting — Rebuilt from the ground up
Your members and your giving live in Gracely, but for many churches the books still lived somewhere else. Not anymore. We rebuilt Accounting around how churches actually manage their finances. Funds made simple, income and expenses in one place, and clear reports for your board and your treasurer. No accounting background needed.
People — First and last names, everywhere
Sort your people list by last name, and see names handled properly across imports, forms, and profiles. A small change that makes a big difference in a large directory.
Everything in this release
New
- The new Accounting. Track your general fund, missions, building fund, and any fund you need.
- Income and expenses in one place. Record everything, from offerings to utility bills.
- Reports for your board and your treasurer, easy to read and easy to share.
- Export any report to CSV or PDF, ready for your next board meeting.
- Move money. Transfer between funds and accounts in one step, with live balances so you can never move more than a fund holds.
- Payees and categories. Keep who you pay and how you label your spending organized, right in Accounting settings.
- New churches start ready. Every new church begins with a starter set of funds, accounts, categories, and payees.

Improvements
- First and last names everywhere. Member import matches name columns automatically, forms and profiles keep both names, and visitor forms now ask for a last name.
- The dashboard is easier to use on smaller screens.
Bug Fixes
- Form exports now include every response, even for long lists.
- A clear message when SMS credits run out, instead of a generic failure.
